The fourth grade Elementary Agricultural Education Standards introduce students to the history, industries, and innovations that have shaped Florida agriculture. Through hands-on exploration of agricultural systems, ecosystems, natural resources, and technology, students develop an understanding of how agriculture impacts communities, economies, and the environment. Students also build leadership, communication, citizenship, and career readiness skills while exploring the many career opportunities connected to Florida's agricultural industry.
