School Garden Grants
The School Garden Grants are designed to support Florida educators in developing and enhancing school gardens while integrating agriculture and gardening into classroom instruction. The grants complement Florida Agriculture in the Classroom's Gardening for Grades, Gardening for Nutrition, and STEMming Up Gardening resources, which guide teachers through the process of establishing a school garden and provide lessons that connect the garden to health, science, language arts, math, technology, engineering, and other subject areas.
New for this year: Florida Agriculture in the Classroom is introducing a new online grant application system through Reviewr. Applicants will need to create a free account before completing the application. The online platform allows you to save your progress, return to your application at any time before submitting, and access your application throughout the year as needed.
The application link is: https://my.reviewr.com/site/School_Garden_Grant
The application window is August 7 through September 15, 2026.
You must use the Reviewr platform, there is not an alternative.
You will need to first create an account. If you have issues, first use the Reviewr chatbot. If you are unable to get answers from that send and email to Becky (sponholtz@agtag.org) AND Jennifer (jennifer@agtag.org).
